1. Who we are

Kef Transfer is a licensed taxi service in Iceland. Contact: hello@keftransfer.is, +354 783 1858.

2. Booking

A booking made on this website is a request until we confirm it by email or WhatsApp. For quotes (“Other destination”), nothing is booked until you accept the fare we send. Please give correct flight, address and contact details; we are not responsible for problems caused by wrong details.

3. Prices

Prices are per car, not per person, and the price shown is the full price for the ride. Keflavík Airport ⇄ any address in the Reykjavík area: 17.500 kr by sedan (up to 4 passengers) or 26.000 kr by van (4–7 passengers), one way. Both ways, booked together: 33.000 kr by sedan or 49.000 kr by van. Keflavík Airport → Blue Lagoon: 9.500 kr one way, up to 4 passengers. There is no night or weekend surcharge. Prices are in ISK; euro amounts shown are approximate (137 kr ≈ €1).

4. Payment

Pay the driver at the end of the ride by card or cash, or pay online in advance with PayPal or card. Nothing is charged unless you choose to pay online. Online payments are charged in euros at 137 kr = €1 (for example 17.500 kr = €127.74), because PayPal does not support ISK. Online payments are processed by PayPal; we never see your card details.

5. Waiting time and delays

We track your flight. 60 minutes of waiting after the actual landing time is included free. For pickups from an address, please be ready at the agreed time.

6. Passengers, luggage and child seats

The maximum number of passengers is 4 in the sedan and 7 in the van. Normal travel luggage is included; tell us about large items in advance. Child seats are free on request and are required by Icelandic law for small children. Seat belts must be worn.

7. Cancellation

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup. See the cancellation & refund policy.

8. Liability

We drive safely and plan for normal conditions, but we are not liable for delays caused by weather, road closures, accidents or other events outside our control, or for missed connections. Lost property found in the car will be kept and we will try to return it.

9. Law

These terms are governed by Icelandic law.
